Even though school is out, learning can still be a part of your child’s summer without the classroom. One fun way to keep learning going during the summer is to start your own 4H club. 4H offers over 30 different clubs with curriculum you simply download. Clubs include things like coding, sewing, geology, dog clubs, aquicluture, photography, arts and crafts, fitness, robotics, and much more! Some clubs also offer kits you and your club can borrow and use. Being part of a 4H club is a great way to teach leadership skills, social skills, science , math and the experience of being part of a team. To learn more visit: http://utah4h.org/discover/

Summer Reading Program Ideas ~ This list of resources provides links to incentives to keep reading a priority this summer. Kids can earn rewards from companies such as Barnes and Noble, Chuck E Cheese, Pizza Hut, and the Salt Lake Bees! www.utahparentcenter.org/summer-reading-program-ideas/

Summer Math Learning Ideas ~ Research shows that summer learning loss in Math is an issue that impacts all students, with students losing an average of 2-3 months of math comprehension every summer.
