ACU 2017 Festival of Trees ~ LEGO WONDERLAND

ACU 2017 Festival of Trees ~  LEGO WONDERLAND

We are so excited to be participating again in the Festival of Trees to benefit Primary Children’s Hospital.  This is a great way to enhance OUR mission of cooperation, collaboration and education. We are so lucky to have Julie Fullmer volunteering as our Festival of Trees coordinator.  Julie and Jessica Kerr have been working with the Festival Team to make this the best year ever! We need your help, as members of the ACU, to help spread the word.

We all know how important Legos are to so many of our kids and families.

Why not put some of those extra Legos to work?  THIS IS HOW YOU CAN HELP: (BEFORE NOVEMBER 15)

You can make a financial donation.  All funds will be used to purchase Christmas presents for the family who receives OUR tree. Simply send your donation to:  ACU c/o Pingree Center  780 Guardsman Way, SLC, UT  84108, or make a donation on our website – http://autismcouncilofutah.org.  Please note if it is for the Festival of Trees. We have several “elves” who are willing to go out Black Friday shopping to get the best deals.  You could also donate a NEW Lego set!

YOU, your family, or your organization can make Lego ornaments for the tree.

There are Festival Rules for handmade ornaments:

They MUST be clean, and GLUED together (I would recommend hot glue).  They also need something to hang from the tree on.  Perhaps a ribbon glued between the top legos.  Here are a few web sites for building Lego Ornaments – plus there are tons of videos on You Tube.

Use your imagination — the more ornaments the better!!
