Free parent workshop on Parents as Partners in the IEP Process ~ February 23rd

The Utah Parent Center, Davis County Family to Family Network and Davis School District Special Education invite you to attend a free parent workshop on Parents as Partners in the IEP Process being held Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 6:30-8:30 PM.

This evening workshop will cover topics including: understanding parent’s roles, rights and responsibilities in the IEP process. Parents will learn how to effectively prepare for, participate in and follow-up on IEP meetings held on behalf of their student. Information will be presented by trainers who are parents of children with disabilities.

The Autism Council of Utah is an independent council working to foster collaboration, communication, and learning among families and agencies. Our aim is to enable each person of any age who has autism or a related disorder, and their families, to have access to resources and responsible information.
